30 jan EuroPeers Training Course
Training Course / 10-16 April 2022 | Brussels, Belgium – FL
A training course for young people who took part in European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+ projects and want to share their European experiences with their peers.
You did a volunteering activity or took part in another European solidarity Corps activity, participated in a youth exchange or organised a youth initiative? Probably you gained lots of experiences and got to know Europe from an exciting perspective. Are you interested in staying involved and sharing your experiences with others?
If you can imagine telling other young people about your European experiences and encouraging them to try suchlike, we invite you warmly to become a EuroPeer! EuroPeers are young people who have already taken part in an European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+ project. They share their experiences and inform other young people (their peers) about these opportunities and other ways to go abroad. This can be done in different ways and in the framework of various events.
During this international training course you will learn how to organise different types of EuroPeer events and how to share your European experience effectively with your peers and with (Belgian) organisations.
You will attend workshops about – opportunities for young people to participate in Europe – Mobility programmes in Europe – Project management and PR activities – Sharing personal experiences and best practices with the Belgian European Solidarity Corps community.
You will also have time to develop your first own EuroPeer activity. At the end of the training you’ll get the chance to implement your activity (together with other participants) on the ENCORE event, a networking event for Belgian organizations working with international volunteers. You’ll have the opportunity to talk about a variety of topics related to European volunteering experiences and you’ll help the next generation of volunteers to have a better experience, thanks to your input and feedback!
During the training there will also be a Social Media team consisting of 4 people, they will be responsible for the whole social dimension of the training to the online world. If you’d like to gain media experiences, you can apply for this team. It will give you a slightly different experience of the whole training. This team will be guided by a very enthusiastic youth leader with massive media and Europeers experience.
