Conference – Symposium – Forum
5-9 December 2022 | Ioannina, Greece
Within the framework of the European Year of Youth, Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs acting as the coordinator, aims to proceed with the recognition of youth work in Greece.
Aim & Objectives
The aim is to bring together youth workers from Greece and all around Europe to reflect on the outcome of the discussions at national level, exchange practices and experiences and contribute to the formal and political recognition of Youth Work in Greece, by fostering as well the quality of youth work services within the Youth Work Community of Practice.
Target Group
The total number of the participants is 30. Half of them will be Greek Youth Workers and the others will be from all around Europe. We are mainly targeting youth workers who have experience in the field and youth workers coming from national/European Youth Workers’ Associations.
Expected outcome
The expected outcome of this conference is to create some concrete proposals for the recognition of youth work for the national delegation to take into consideration and discuss the future of Youth Work in Europe .
Place and Dates
The activity will take place in Ioannina 5-9 December 2022. 5/12 and 9/12 are considered as travel days.

Costs
Participation fee
This project is financed by the participating National Agencies of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.
Accommodation and food
The Hellenic NA will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.
Travel reimbursement
Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity.
